We are looking for a Team Rector for this very significant benefice within the diocese, which contains a range of rural and urban parishes and worship traditions. Lay ministry is taken seriously. The successful candidate will lead the process of appointing a Team Vicar with whom they will share leadership of a staff team comprising: one house for duty team vicar, one associate priest, two self supporting ministers, one reader and several retired clergy with permission to officiate.

We are looking for someone who has missional imagination and creativity, a passion for social justice and a strategic mind who will join us on our journey and help us to take it to the next stage.

A Parish with a population of 20,000 located in the Walsall Deanery at the northern end of the Black Country. Very much an urban community with a long Christian tradition; the Church has been and very much remains a core part of people’s lives at the most significant points in family life.
