A new Anglican seminary for the formation of priests in the Diocese of Melbourne, Australia.
As Director of the Central Secretariat and Clerk to the Synod, you will act as the equivalent of “Company Secretary” for the Archbishop’s Council charity; overseeing policy work on how the Church organises and governs itself. You will also support the Chief Executive, the Secretary General, across the range of his responsibilities, including deputising where necessary on issues within the Church and with key stakeholders outside the Church.
This is a parish with wonderful possibilities for continuing and developing diverse ministry. It offers the opportunity to cast vision for building God’s kingdom here, lead the ministry team in working out God’s plans and purposes and nurture willing volunteers in their discipleship as an integral part of this.
The Parish of Wonersh and Blackheath lies in the Surrey Hills, a couple of miles south of Guildford. The church community is living out the call of God through loving hospitality, caring service and clear teaching and looking to continue to grow in discipleship, influence and numbers.
