We are looking for an inspirational priest with a missional heart and love for people, to help us embrace the changes necessary to extend God’s invitation to those in the communities we serve. The successful candidate will be licensed as Priest in Charge in both parishes, and share with two stipendiary colleagues in the oversight of the Living Stones Mission Area comprising of seven benefices.
Our two parishes with three churches are seeking a full time vicar to lead us in our mission and growth, to support our church families and further our outreach throughout our benefice. We have two rural villages with churches nestled in the beautiful Staffordshire Moorlands and a third church positioned in the suburban outskirts of Stoke-on-Trent, all within two miles of each other.
St James’s Church draws together a diverse set of activities, projects and aspirations as part of its life as an Anglican parish church in central London. The congregation is a gathered and highly committed community of people who value diversity and inclusion as core values.
