This is an exciting role based half time at St Michael’s, Old Rossington in a newly established Mission Area of five parishes, and half time with South Yorkshire Police, both serving a diverse socio-economic context. The successful candidate will be a person in priestly orders in the Church of England, who has completed IME2 and will be able to combine both roles with passion and care.
We are looking for an inspirational priest with a missional heart and love for people, to help us embrace the changes necessary to extend God’s invitation to those in the communities we serve. The successful candidate will be licensed as Priest in Charge in both parishes, and share with two stipendiary colleagues in the oversight of the Living Stones Mission Area comprising of seven benefices.
St Mary Stoke, with a venerable history, is bursting with opportunity and life. We are praying for a Rector to be with us and part of Inspiring Ipswich; living the Resurrection hope in this ‘central’ and inclusive parish.
Do you have a strong vocation to live in a healing, ecumenical community, to lead and manage a committed team of staff and volunteers, and be alongside our guests as they respond to loss, sorrow, and pain by finding new hope?
