Langley House Trust has an exciting opportunity for a Head of Chaplaincy to develop the Christian identity and impact of the Group internally and externally.
We are looking for a first Rector of our new benefice to introduce younger families and a wider community to the life of our churches in four villages in rural West Kent. We are forming a joint council for the benefice so that we can grow God’s church with a strong leader, supported by an assistant priest as well as paid and volunteer help. We offer a modern rectory, a range of state and independent schools, plus excellent road and rail links from nearby Sevenoaks or Tonbridge.
We are a single parish of two churches looking to grow in our faith and to reach out to our communities with the love and care of Christ.
MHA is one of the most well-regarded care providers and amongst the largest charities in Britain, providing residential care, retirement communities and community support services to approximately 19,600 older people across Britain. Established for over 75 years, with an income of over £246m per year and circa 7,500 dedicated staff and 4,250 volunteers, our mission is to enable people to live later life well. MHA is inspired by a Christian ethos originating from its Methodist roots, but is a contemporary organisation which seeks to serve and employ people of all faiths and beliefs.
