The Lay Ministry Support Officer will develop training that is accessible, practical and faith-full. Their role will include training and support for locally commissioned lay leaders in both the church and the wider world. They will help to shape a culture within the Diocese which fosters lay ministry and the diversity of people engaged in that ministry.
The Diocese of Leeds and Wakefield Cathedral are seeking to appoint an experienced priest with passion and aptitude for enabling lay ministry to flourish across the diverse contexts of the Church of England.
