This is an exciting role based half time at St Michael’s, Old Rossington in a newly established Mission Area of five parishes, and half time with South Yorkshire Police, both serving a diverse socio-economic context. The successful candidate will be a person in priestly orders in the Church of England, who has completed IME2 and will be able to combine both roles with passion and care.
Two Colleges of Durham University are seeking to appoint a joint Chaplain to lead in the provision of pastoral, spiritual and religious support to all members, of all faiths and beliefs. Hatfield College, where the Chaplain will be based, has a Chapel Licensed for Divine Service. Hence, the successful applicant will be required to be licenced by the Bishop of Durham. St Cuthbert’s Society does not have its own chapel, but has had both lay and ordained chaplains in the past.
We are looking for a new rector whose love of Scripture and preaching and experience of working in a busy parish can lead and unite us into a spirit-led community, post-pandemic; who will enjoy our varied styles of worship and build a new stipendiary team.
