About the contributors

Richard Carter is a priest at St Martin in the Fields in London’s Trafalgar Square, and founder of its contemplative Nazareth Community. He is the author of The City is My Monastery and In Search of the Lost.
Andrew Nunn is the Dean of Southwark and is much loved by his congregation which has grown internationally during lockdown. He is the author of The Hour is Come: The Passion in real time.
Guli Francis-Dehqani is the Bishop of Chelmsford. Prior to her ordination, she obtained a doctorate from Bristol University and worked as a BBC producer. She is the author of Cries for a Lost Homeland.
Fr Luigi Gioia is a freelance writer and speaker in theology and spirituality. His books include The Wisdom of St Benedict and Touched by God: The way to contemplative prayer.
Paula Gooder is one of the UK's leading biblical scholars. She is Canon Chancellor of St Paul's Cathedral, a Reader and the author of Women of Holy Week.
Ally Barrett is Chaplain at St Catharine's College in Cambridge. Her illustrations feature in Women of Holy Week.
