The Bishop of Leicester is seeking to appoint a Rector to the Benefice of Anstey and Thurcaston with Cropston.
St Peter’s Brockley and Holy Trinity Sydenham are working in partnership to see south east London transformed.
As Director of the Central Secretariat and Clerk to the Synod, you will act as the equivalent of “Company Secretary” for the Archbishop’s Council charity; overseeing policy work on how the Church organises and governs itself. You will also support the Chief Executive, the Secretary General, across the range of his responsibilities, including deputising where necessary on issues within the Church and with key stakeholders outside the Church.
This role is pivotal in developing the strategic priorities and ensuring the delivery of the objectives of the ministry to which God has called the Archbishop of Canterbury, in close cooperation with the Archbishop of York and other members of the senior team, and helps ensure the leadership and ministry of the Archbishop and his staff, reflect the values of the Gospel of Christ, in humility, service and sacrifice.
