Shiranikha Herbert is the Legal Correspondent for Church Times
We are seeking a Residentiary Canon for Christ Church who, as a member of Chapter, will bring wisdom, stability and creativity to the life of the Cathedral and contribute as a member of the Governing Body of Christ Church.
Our Benefice is just west of Stafford and the four churches cover several rural villages. Farming is the main local activity but there are also significant numbers of commuters who work in the surrounding towns and cities. All our churches are within a 3 mile radius from the rectory, which is in Haughton, the largest village.
The parish of Holy Trinity Skipton is searching for a new Rector. We are a very active, friendly and welcoming parish with a middle church tradition. Focused primarily on the Yorkshire Dales town of Skipton, the Rector of Holy Trinity will also be responsible for the church of St Augustine’s in the adjacent rural village of Draughton.
In God’s good grace we are looking for a godly, Christ-dependent man who is a gifted bible expositor and has the capability to help us grow in faith and impact for the gospel in the town and beyond.
Hull Minster sits at the heart of our city and combines a vibrant parish life with a civic ministry larger than some cathedrals.
