Westham (population 5,000) is an attractive and expanding village, set in beautiful Sussex countryside, near to the sea, on the rail network, and within easy reach of central Eastbourne.
We seek a Rector who can give a strong but gentle lead, with a vision to deepen and enrich the life of the church in terms of pastoral care, worship, and spiritual development, and be alongside us as we engage in the life of the Leith community, build links with other local faith communities, and fulfil our call to local and national mission.
This recently created mission community, in an area of outstanding natural beauty on the Isle of Wight, is at a very exciting point on its journey to being a thriving and growing group of churches.
We are active, outward-looking worshipping communities, set within a benefice comprising the busy growing market town of Saxmundham and the small and lively village community of Kelsale cum Carlton. We seek a Priest-in-Charge who will be with us and lead us as we continue to grow and share the gospel.
We are looking for an open-hearted and collaborative vicar to lead us as we start our journey as a united benefice in this lovely corner of rural Essex. You would be living in the historic small town of Coggeshall, with a flock spread across several surrounding villages.
