The Diocese of Sheffield is called to grow a sustainable network of Christ-like, lively and diverse Christian communities in every place which are effective in making disciples and in seeking to transform our society and God’s world.
We are seeking a dynamic proven leader to lead Oakleigh Community Church at a significant moment of our journey.
We are seeking an experienced Priest to lead and minister to our congregations and communities here in this beautiful and truly rural part of Hampshire.
The benefice was formally created in 2019 after five years of working together. It is hoped that our new Priest-in-Charge will bring drive and enthusiasm to the future development of the benefice which is set in urban and rural villages southeast of the Peak District.
The United Benefice of Upper Tooting is at the heart of a vibrant, diverse and changing community. The two parishes and their congregations represent different demographics but share a liberal catholic tradition, an inclusive welcoming heart and a strong commitment to community engagement.
