Following an intense and exciting first 18 months, which has seen the Trust created and quickly admit six schools, the Diocese of St Albans Multi-Academy Trust is seeking to appoint an inspirational CEO to lead it into the next phase of its development. Coming from the business, charity or educational sector our new CEO will have the capacity, skills and experience to develop and grow the Trust.
We are looking for an enthusiastic priest to join our team in this newly formed benefice.
Are you called to serve our congregation and community here to the east of London, building on our evangelical tradition, within a Ministry and Mission Unit of four neighbouring churches?
This Benefice, comprising the parishes of St Mary the Virgin, Dallington and Northampton St James, was created in 2017 and has a population of 13,000. Churchmanship is ‘central’. Northampton Saints RFC was founded by a curate of St James and Franklin’s Gardens is just a short walk from the church. Dallington parish is in the top 6% of the most deprived areas in the country. There are challenges and opportunities with the promise of plenty of support from the church family.
This is a new senior role for the development of Christian communities, pioneer ministry and fresh expressions including co-ordination and oversight of our church planting projects in strategic mission priority areas.
