Ripon College Cuddesdon is looking for an experienced priest and inspiring teacher as a senior colleague with responsibility to help shape the pastoral, spiritual and liturgical formation of ordinands, lay ministerial students and independent learners at Cuddesdon, near Oxford.
With a passion for enabling the ministry of the whole people of God and excellent strategic leadership skills, the Lay Ministry Officer/Warden of Readers is tasked with renewing Reader Ministry and developing all licensed and other lay ministry pathways in the Diocese.
Established in 1895, the College of St Barnabas has provided a home and a place to maintain a rhythm of prayer and worship for anyone retiring from full time ministry in the Anglican church and their spouses. The community is based in an elegant Victorian building set in nine acres of gardens and woodland and comprises around 60 residents, many of whom have limited means or wider family to look after them, together with 75 staff.
