We are seeking a full time Director of Ordinands to serve as part of the Vocations and Training team, championing the Diocesan priorities of Discipleship, Vocation and Evangelism.
Our vibrant and active Benefice is seeking someone to become part of a new team. Our vision is to be a family of six churches reaching out into the community, sharing Christ’s love and making disciples. We share in the diocesan vision of telling a joyful story, growing God’s kingdom and building our capacity for good.
A pastor is required who will work with a loyal and supportive rural community, which has a tradition of a high level of participation in worship and parochial activities. The parish has had a remarkable commitment to missionary outreach over many years.
This is an exciting, newly created position for a School Chaplain to encourage and nurture the spiritual and religious developments of pupils and staff and to celebrate the Christian ethos of the school.
The Diocese of Southwark encompasses urban South London, which includes almost every ethnicity, with parishes stretching into the more rural parts of East Surrey. It is one of the most multicultural and diverse dioceses in England.
