We are looking for an energetic, prayerful priest with a mature spirituality to assist the Rector, wardens and PCC in exploring the meaning of Christ’s gospel in this complex environment as we make our way through the pandemic.
We are seeking an incumbent for this united benefice of two parishes in a beautiful part of rural Cheshire, with a total population of around 4,000. There are three churches (St Oswald Malpas, St John Threapwood and Holy Trinity Bickerton). The parishes are of central tradition. There are strong community links and several schools, including a church school. A good modern rectory is provided.
Her Majesty’s Duchy of Lancaster and the people of this new and exciting Benefice are looking for a Rector who is prayerful, loving and mission minded.
Living within a cluster of your six very small rural parishes, this is an exciting opportunity to build relationships, integrate in village life, to get involved with a local primary school and to share the love of Jesus with all those you meet.
Following a restructuring of responsibilities within the denomination, the Free Church of England is looking to appoint an engaging and supportive individual to be the new Company Secretary of the Free Church of England Central Trust and General Secretary of the Free Church of England. The role holder will work with our Bishops and other leaders to enable growth and effectiveness in the ministry of the Church.
