In the Church of England, Birmingham, we seek to shape ministry for a changing church and world. We’re creating six new deaneries, each with a full -time stipendiary Area Dean. The Area Dean for our new Deanery of Yardley & Solihull will work
collaboratively to support a great variety of parishes and worshipping communities in local mission.
A unique opportunity has arisen for someone to become the first Rector of this newly-formed benefice, in the heart of the Diocese of Llandaff. Llantrisant is an attractive and historic settlement,12 miles north of Cardiff. The new benefice will be seeking new ways to respond to the needs of a growing residential population, on the outskirts of Wales’s capital city.
Working as a member of the Bishop’s Leadership Team you will be Archdeacon for two Deaneries and lead the Diocesan Mission and Ministry Support Team
A part-time features editor for the Church Times is sought to provide maternity cover for up to one year. This is a freelance post
We are looking for an individual with significant experience in a senior fundraising role who is motivated and inspiring in organizing and developing both traditional and imaginative fundraising activities. The person we would appoint will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and will be able, in conjunction with us, to take the life and mission of the Cathedral forward and develop and implement its strategic vision.
