About the contributors
Claire Gilbert is the founding director of the Westminster Abbey Institute. Claire is visiting fellow at Jesus College, University of Cambridge, and has been a member of numerous public and advisory bodies. She has authored many books. Her latest book is I, Julian, a fictional autobiography of Julian of Norwich.
Julia Mourant is Programme Leader for the Sarum Course in Spiritual Direction and Tutor in Spiritual Formation and Biblical Studies at Sarum College. She is an Anglican priest who has been involved in training and supervising spiritual directors for many years. Her books include Listening to Your Soul and Listening to Your Life.
Malcolm Guite is a poet, priest, singer and songwriter, and Fellow of Girton College, Cambridge. His poetry is enjoyed throughout the English-speaking world and his many books include Sounding the Seasons (now in its tenth printing), David’s Crown, and Waiting on the Word – a collection of poems and reflections for each day of Advent, Christmas and Epiphany.
Rachel Mann is a poet, priest, theologian and writer based in Manchester. Her numerous publications include In The Bleak Midwinter: Advent and Christmas with Christina Rossetti, Love’s Mysteries, and a volume of poetry, A Kingdom of Love.
Richard Carter is a priest at St Martin-in-the-Fields in London’s Trafalgar Square, and founder of its contemplative Nazareth Community. He is the author of The City is My Monastery, In Search of the Lost, and Letters From Nazareth as well as this year’s Church of England Christmas booklet Follow the Star: Join the Song.
