Church Times Festival of Preaching returns

Tickets are now on sale for the event taking place in Cambridge, 13 to 15 September

TICKETS are now on sale for the next Church Times Festival of Preaching, which takes place from 13 to 15 September in Cambridge. The festival offers a stimulating and varied programme of worship, lectures and workshops designed to help preachers to enrich their sermons.

Speakers confirmed for the 2026 programme so far include Nadia Bolz-Weber, the Revd Dr Sam Wells, the Revd Dr Isabelle Hamley, Dr Selina Stone, the Very Revd Dr Mark Oakley, Pádraig Ó Tuama, and Nadim Nassar. More will be announced later this year. The events take place in Great Saint Mary’s Church and St John’s College. Day tickets are on offer, as well as residential options.

David Shervington, the Publishing Director at Hymns Ancient & Modern and joint programme director of the Festival of Preaching, said, “We are thrilled to be bringing together such a wonderful array of speakers for this year’s Festival. It promises to be a rich time of refreshment and inspiration for preachers everywhere.”
