HIGGINS. — On 20 May, the Revd Godfrey Higgins: Rector of High Hoyland (1968-75); Vicar of Marsden (1975-83); St Giles with St Mary, Pontefract (1983-2004); Hon. Canon of Wakefield Cathedral (1993-2004); aged 85.

HOLLINGWORTH. — On 19 May, the Rt Revd Dr Peter John Hollingworth: Priest-in-Charge of St Mary’s, Melbourne (1960-64); Director of Youth and Chaplain of the Brotherhood of St Laurence (1964-70); Associate Director (1970-79); Executive Director (1980-85); Canon of St Paul’s Cathedral, Melbourne (1980-85); Bishop in the Inner City of the diocese of Melbourne (1985-89); Archbishop of Brisbane (1989-2001); Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia (2001-03); aged 91.

RICHARDSON. — On 6 May, the Very Revd David John Leyburn Richardson: Chaplain of Girton College, Cambridge (1976-79); Sub-Warden of St Barnabas College, Adelaide (1979-82); Rector of Christ Church, St Lucia, Brisbane (1982-85); Dean of St Peter’s Cathedral, Adelaide (1989-99); St Paul’s Cathedral, Melbourne (1999-2008); Archbishop of Canterbury’s Representative to the Holy See and Director of the Anglican Centre in Rome (2008–2013); aged 80.

STEVEN. — On 16 May, the Revd Richard John Steven: Priest-in-Charge of Horsmonden (2004-09); Chaplain of HM Prison Blantyre House (2005-09); in Australia (2009-11); Priest-in-Charge of Herstmonceux and Wartling (2011-23); aged 71.
