New archdeacon

THE next Archdeacon of Ludlow, in Hereford diocese, is to be the Revd Samantha Hustwayte, Vicar of St Wilfrid’s, Calverton, since 2017, Area Dean of Gedling, chair of the House of Clergy, and a senior vocations adviser, in Southwell & Nottingham diocese. She graduated in divinity from London University in 1996, and studied at St John’s College, Nottingham, before serving her title in Arnold from 2013 to 2017. She is married to Matt, who works for the Church Pastoral Aid Society, and they have three grown-up children.

 

ASHFORD-OKAI. The Revd Fred Ashford-Okai, NS Associate Priest of All Saints’, Forest Gate, to be Priest-in-Charge of St Michael and All Angels, Walthamstow (Chelmsford).

BENNETT. The Revd Milen Bennett, formerly Assistant Priest of All Saints’, Forest Gate (Chelmsford), now Chaplain of HM Prison Isis (Southwark).

COBLEY. The Revd Michelle Cobley, Assistant Curate of The Lytchetts and Upton, to be Associate Priest of St John’s, Heatherlands (Salisbury).

DAWKINS. The Revd Catherine Dawkins, Deputy Diocesan Secretary and Finance Director (Chichester), to be also NS Associate Priest of St Paul’s and St Agatha’s, Woldingham (Southwark).

DEVER. The Revd Paul Dever, Priest-in-Charge of St John’s, Colchester (Chelmsford), to be Vicar.

FERGUSSON. The Revd Norma Fergusson, formerly Vicar of Swivenham and Ashbury (Oxford), to be Rector of Rowde and Bromham (Salisbury).

GASKELL. The Revd Joshua Gaskell, Assistant Curate of St Paul’s, Withington (Manchester), to be Vicar of St Paul’s Worship Centre, North Shore, Blackpool, with St Anne’s, Greenlands (Blackburn).

GOLDEN-HANN. The Revd Robyn Golden-Hann, Assistant Curate of St Aldhelm’s and St Francis’s, Branksome (Salisbury), now Priest-in- Charge of Berrow and Brean, and of the Three Saints Benefice ( Bath & Wells).

GRENFELL. The Revd Dr James Grenfell, Chaplain Manager of the University of East London, to be Head of Chaplaincy at East Suffolk and North Essex Foundation Trust (Chelmsford).

HENRIETTE. The Revd Christopher Henriette, Assistant Curate of the Church of the Good Shepherd with St Peter’s, Lee (Southwark), to be Vicar.

HILLMAN. The Revd Clive Hillman, Archdeacon Assisting in Perth, Australia, to be Rector of Holy Trinity, Broadstairs (Canterbury).

HORSLEY. The Revd Nichola (Nikki) Horsley, Assistant Curate of Black Notley, Great Notley and Rayne, to be Priest-in-Charge of Stanway (Chelmsford).

McHARDIE. The Revd Douglas McHardie, Vicar of Christ Church, Purley, to be Rector of All Saints’ with St Antony’s, Sanderstead (Southwark).

NORRIS. The Revd Daniel Norris, Assistant Curate of St James’s, Piccadilly (London), now Rector of the Ramsey and the North East Benefice (Sodor & Man).

O’NEILL. The Revd Gillian O’Neill, Vicar of St John’s, East Dulwich, Woolwich Area Director of Ordinands, and Acting Archdeacon of Southwark, also to be Woolwich Area Women’s Ministry Adviser (Southwark).

PEAD. The Revd Kathryn Mary Pead, Assistant Chaplain of University Hospital Southampton, to be Associate Priest of Ringwood with Ellingham and Harbridge and St Leonards and St Ives (Winchester).

SERTIN. The Revd Jonathan Sertin, Pioneer Priest of St Andrew’s, Earlsfield (Southwark), to be Vicar.

SMITH. The Revd Alice Smith, NS Assistant Curate of All Saints’ and St Peter’s, Hutton (Chelmsford), to be Assistant Curate.

SWITHINBANK. The Revd Dr Hannah Swithinbank, Assistant Curate of St Philip’s and All Saints’ with St Luke’s, Kew, to be Team Vicar of Christ Church, Colliers Wood, in the Merton Priory Team Ministry (Southwark).
