Archdeacon of Bodmin

THE next Archdeacon of Bodmin, in Truro diocese, is to be the Revd Dr Helen Williams, Team Vicar of Shaftesbury, in the diocese of Salisbury. Dr Williams’s background is in astrophysics. After having children, she was licensed as a Reader in the Winchester diocese and also trained as a science teacher. Having moved to Dorset, she was licensed in Salisbury diocese and continued to teach while training for ordination at Sarum College, in Salisbury. She served a curacy in Wareham before moving to her present post. It is expected that Dr Williams will become Archdeacon-designate in August and be collated in September.

 

ANDRÉASSON. The Revd Kristina Andréasson, Assistant Curate of St John’s Wood, to be Associate Priest of St Cyprian’s, Clarence Gate, and of St Paul’s, St Marylebone, and Chaplain of Francis Holland School (London).

BAKER. The Revd David Baker, Priest-in-Charge of Braunton (Exeter), now Vicar.

CEARNS. The Revd Edward Cearns, NS Assistant Curate of St Benedict’s, Cambridge (Ely), to be Associate Vicar.

COTTERILL. The Revd Thomas Cotterill, Assistant Curate of St Bartholomew’s, Brighton, and of St Paul’s, Brighton, to be Priest-in-Charge of St John’s, West Worthing, and St Andrew’s, Worthing (Chichester).

COWLING. The Very Revd Simon Cowling, formerly Dean of Wakefield (Leeds), now Dean Emeritus.

COX. The Revd Claire Cox, Assistant Curate of Old Swinford, to be Rector of Pedmore and Wollescote (Worcester).

GIBBS. The Revd Stewart Gibbs, Priest-in-Charge of High Ongar with Norton Mandeville (Chelmsford), to be Rector of Ightham and Wrotham (Rochester).

GODFREY. The Revd Josephine Godfrey, Assistant Curate of Holy Trinity with St Philip, Dalston, and All Saints’, Haggerston, to be Associate Minister of St Paul’s Cathedral (London).

GREEN. The Revd Andrew Green, NSM of Evesham with Norton and Lenchwick, now NS Associate Minister of Church Lench with Rous Lench and Abbots Morton and Harvington (Worcester).

KNIGHT. The Revd Joseph Knight, Priest-in-Charge of Twigworth, Down Hatherley, Norton, The Leigh, Evington, Sandhurst and Staverton with Boddington, to be Transitional Minister in the Forest of Dean: Priest-in-Charge of Parkend and Viney Hill, and of Newnham with Awre and Blakeney (Gloucester).

LEEKE. The Revd Barnabas Leeke, Assistant Curate of Lordsbridge, to be Vicar of Trumpington (Ely).

McINTOSH. The Revd Dr Ian McIntosh, Director of Mission and Ministry and Canon of York Minster (York), to be Associate Director of Wellbeing at St Luke’s for Clergy Wellbeing.

MORRISON. The Revd Carol Morrison, to be Interim Priest-in-Charge of Christ Church, Ore, and St Helen’s, Ore (Chichester).
NOTT. The Revd Ian Nott, Assistant Curate of the Church of the Good Shepherd, Carshalton Beeches (Southwark), to be Vicar of Padiham with Hapton and Padiham Green (Blackburn).
ROWSON. The Revd Lyn Rowson, Assistant Curate of Wordsley, now also Associate Priest of Amblecote (Worcester).
UZOIGWE. The Revd Austin Uzoigwe, Team Vicar in the Tas Valley Team Ministry, to be Priest-in-Charge of Brooke, Kirstead, Mundham with Seething and Thwaite (Norwich).

The Revd Frances Croxon-Hall, Assistant Curate in the Glyn Aeron Coastal Ministry Area, now Priest-in-Charge of Holy Trinity, Cross Inn; St Carannog’s Llangranog; St Ina’s, Llanina, St Llwchaiarn’s, Newquay; St Michael’s, Penbryn, and St Tysilio’s, Llanysiliogogo, in the Glyn Aeron Coastal Ministry Area (St Davids).
