Church Times Train-a-Priest (TAP) Fund: Update

by
01 May 2026

We are grateful to everyone who has made a gift this year. We launch the appeal every Lent, but the fund remains open for donations through Eastertide

AN UPDATE on our Church Times Train-a-Priest (TAP) Fund: generous readers have given almost £25,000 this year. The TAP Fund helps to support ordinands in need and those earlier in the exploration of their vocation by removing some of the barriers to participation.

We are grateful to everyone who has made a gift this year. We launch the appeal every Lent, but the fund remains open for donations through Eastertide. If you haven’t yet given, may we encourage you to consider doing so?

Every penny that you give will go to people facing financial difficulty at the beginning of their journey to ministry in the Church of England. Nothing is retained to cover administrative expenses.

Donate online quickly and securely at: hymnsam.co.uk/donations/tap-fund

Or you can give by cheque or charity voucher. Please make cheques payable to: “The TAP Fund” and send to: TAP Fund, Church Times, Hymns Ancient & Modern, 13a Hellesdon Road, Norwich NR6 5DR.

If your donation is eligible for Gift Aid, please include a completed TAP Gift Aid form (available to download on our website) with your cheque. You can also opt for Gift Aid when making an online donation.
