Leicester post
THE next Archdeacon of Leicester is to be the Revd Richard Trethewey, Rector of Glenfield and Newtown Linford, in Leicester diocese, since 2016, and Assistant Archdeacon of Leicester and of Loughborough since 2023. He was also Acting Archdeacon of Loughborough from 1 October to 31 December, while the Ven. Claire Wood was on sabbatical. Mr Trethewey was ordained priest in 2003 and served his title in Lichfield diocese, before holding a curacy in the diocese of Birmingham until 2016.
He will be installed on 2 October.
