HILL. — On 29 October, the Revd Charles Merrick Hill: Team Vicar in the Southampton City Centre Team Ministry (1985-87); Vicar of St George’s, Portsea (1987-94); Priest-in-Charge of Bodenham with Hope-under-Dinmore, Felton and Preston Wynne (1994-2004); Hellingly and Upper Dicker (2004-05); Vicar (2005-14); Priest-in-Charge of Christ Church and St Andrew, Blacklands, Hastings (2014-22); aged 73.

HUBAND. — On 20 October, the Revd Richard William Huband, Rector of Aspley Guise with Husborne Crawley and Ridgmont (1981-91); Vicar of Elstow (1991-2003); aged 85.

LUFF. — On 26 October, the Revd Caroline Margaret Synia Luff: Chaplain of Trinity School, Teignmouth (1997-2011); Assistant Curate of Diptford, North Huish, Harberton, Harbertonford, Halwell and Moreleigh (2007-16); Ermington and Ugborough (2011-16); aged 81.

ORTON. — On 29 September, the Revd Richard Orton: Hon. Assistant Curate of Meltham (1962-69); Horsforth (1969-72); Assistant Curate of Far Headingley (1972-75); Vicar of Hellifield (1975-80); Rural Dean of Bowland (1978-79); Rector of Hutton (1980-87); St Hilary’s, Wallasey (1987-2000); Chester Diocesan Ecumenical Officer (1992-99); Rural Dean of Wallasey (1996-99); Hon. Canon of Chester Cathedral (1997-2000); Assistant Curate of Great Sutton (2001-05); aged 92.

PIKE. — On 24 October, the Revd Paul Alfred Pike: Assistant Curate of Penn Fields (1984-89); with OMF International in Japan (1989-2003); aged 87.
