The Church Times and Modern Church hosted a webinar last November discussing the topic of assisted dying, exploring the pastoral, ethical, psychological, cultural and practical considerations to bear in mind when legislating on assisted dying.

The webinar was chaired by Professor Elaine Graham of Modern Church. On the panel were the Revd Joanna Collicutt, author of Death and Life: A church's guide to exploring morality (BRF, 2024); the Revd James Woodward, Principal of Sarum College; Cassius Francis, a senior Chaplain at Birmingham Women’s & Children’s NHS Foundation Trust; and the Revd Katie Tupling, Disability Adviser for the Oxford Diocese.
