Salisbury archdeacons
THE Ven. Alan Jeans, Archdeacon of Sarum, in Salisbury diocese, is to retire in July. Archdeacon Jeans was ordained priest in 1990 and has served all his ministry in Salisbury diocese. Besides serving in parishes, he has been the Diocesan Parish Development Adviser and the Diocesan Director of Ordinands. He has been a Canon and Prebendary of Salisbury Cathedral since 2002.
The Ven. Antony MacRow-Wood, Archdeacon of Dorset since 2015, is also retiring, in June. He trained for ministry at Westcott House, Cambridge, and was ordained priest in 1993. He served his title in Bristol diocese, before moving to Salisbury diocese in 1996. He has been a Canon and Prebendary of Salisbury Cathedral since 2012, and also serves as the diocese’s Director of Finance and Asset Management.
