Wiltshire post

THE new Archdeacon of Wiltshire, in Salisbury diocese, is to be the Revd Louise Ellis, Priest-in-Charge of Holy Angels’, Lilliput, since 2017, and Assistant Diocesan Director of Ordinands since 2016. She trained for ministry at Ridley Hall, Cambridge, and was ordained priest in 2008. She served her title in Southwark diocese, where she later served as Team Vicar in the Limpsfield Team Ministry, Diocesan Vocations Adviser and Diocesan Discipleship and Vocations Missioner.

 

Bolton move

THE Revd Simon Cook, Area Dean of Bolton, in Manchester diocese, since 2021, and Assistant Curate of Bolton-le-Moors, since 2021, is now also Acting Archdeacon of Salford and Bolton. He trained for ministry at Cranmer Hall, Durham, and was ordained priest in 2009. He has served all his ministry in Manchester diocese, including as Assistant Archdeacon of Bolton.

 

BLATCHLEY. The Revd Elizabeth Blatchley, Leader of Nine Elms Arts Ministry (Bishop’s Mission Order) (Southwark), to be Abbey Missioner of Bath Abbey (Bath & Wells).

CALNER. The Revd Helen Calner, Assistant Curate of St Philip’s, Earl’s Court Road, to be Vicar of St Augustine of Canterbury, Whitton (London).

COOKSEY. The Revd Diane Cooksey, Vicar of Warndon, and Area Dean of Worcester, to be Team Rector and Renewal Leader in the Gornal and Sedgley Team Ministry, remaining Hon. Canon of Worcester Cathedral (Worcester).

CROWTHER. The Revd Gordon Crowther, Warden of Lee Abbey (Exeter), to be Team Rector in the Radipole and Melcombe Regis with Chickerell Team Ministry (Salisbury).

CURTIS. The Revd Richard Curtis, Team Rector in the Cannings and Redhorn Team Ministry, now also Rural Dean of Devizes (Salisbury).

DEAN-REVILL. The Revd David Dean-Revill, Priest-in-Charge of Shiregreen, to be Priest-in-Charge of St Luke’s, Worsbrough Common, with St Thomas and St James, Worsbrough (Sheffield).

DONNELL. The Revd Gemma Donnell, Rector of Moreton, Woodford and Crossways with Tincleton (Salisbury), now Rector of Finchampstead and California (Oxford).

GILL. The Revd William Gill, Assistant Curate of Holy Trinity, Brompton, with St Paul’s, Onslow Square, and St Augustine’s, South Kensington, to be Vicar of St John the Baptist and St Mary the Virgin, Isleworth (London).

GOODISON. The Revd Eleanor Goodison, Priest-in-Charge of Athelington, Denham, Horham, Hoxne, Redlingfield, Syleham and Wingfield (St Edmundsbury & Ipswich), now Rector.

GRAHAM. The Revd Luke Graham, Assistant Curate of St Thomas’s, Crookes, to be Priest-in-Charge and Oversight Minister of St John the Evangelist, Sheffield (Sheffield).

HARRIS. The Revd Eleanor-Joy Harris, Assistant Curate in the Saffron Walden and Villages Team Ministry (Chelmsford), to be Team Vicar.

KORN. The Revd Sam Korn, Assistant Curate of St Mary’s, Bourne Street, Pimlico, and Chaplain of St Mary Magdalene Academy, Highbury (London), to be Rector of St Paul’s, Wokingham (Oxford).

LEES. The Revd Samuel Lees, Assistant Curate in the Greenstead with St Anne’s, Colchester Team Ministry (Chelmsford), to be Vicar of Earlham (Norwich).

LEIGH. The Revd Nathan Leigh, Assistant Curate (Associate Vicar) of St Mark’s, Swanswell, Conventional District, Coventry (Coventry), to be Assistant Curate of Holy Trinity, Brompton, with St Paul’s, Onslow Square, and St Augustine’s, South Kensington (London).

LEIGHTON. The Revd Leah Leighton, Assistant Curate of Holy Trinity, Idle, of St Cuthbert’s, Wrose, and St John’s, Greengates, to be Associate Leader of Fountains Church, Bradford (Bishop’s Mission Order), and Priest-in-Charge of Frizinghall (Leeds).

LUSCOMBE. The Revd Matthew Luscombe, part-time Interim Priest-in-Charge of the Lakenham Group (St Edmundsbury & Ipswich), now full-time Priest-in-Charge.

MARTIN. The Revd Philip Martin, Vicar of St Aldhelm and St Francis, Branksome (Salisbury), to be house-for-duty Interim Minister in the Six Pilgrims Benefice (Bath & Wells).

MERRY. The Revd Tommy Merry, Vicar of St Mark’s, Basford, and Priest-in-Charge of Wolstanton (Lichfield), to be Vicar of St Paul’s, Ruislip Manor (London).

MOODY. The Revd George Moody, Team Vicar in the Three Valleys Team Ministry (Salisbury), now Team Rector.

OGUS. The Revd Rebecca Ogus, formerly Assistant Curate of the Church of the Redeemer, Baltimore (ECUSA), to be part-time Chaplain of St John’s, Winchester (Winchester).

OSTLI-EAST. The Revd Peter Ostli-East, Rector of the Bourne Valley Benefice, now also Rural Dean of Alderbury (Salisbury).

PECKETT. The Revd Joshua Peckett, Assistant Curate in the Headingley and All Hallows’ Team Ministry (Leeds), to be Vicar of St Margaret of Antioch and St Clement, Great Ilford (Chelmsford).

POPE. The Revd Simon Pope, Assistant Curate in the Avon River Team Ministry, to be Vicar of St Thomas’s, Trowbridge, and West Ashton (Salisbury)

POWELL. The Revd Robert Powell, Team Rector in the Furzedown Team Ministry (Southwark), to be Vicar of Christ Church, Orpington (Rochester).
