Church Times Train-A-Priest (TAP) Fund Africa continues

by
14 March 2025

WE KNOW that our readers have many claims on their generosity, but we ask them to consider donating this Lent to TAP Africa, the extension of the annual Church Times Train-A-Priest (TAP) Fund.

A large legacy a few years ago means that TAP grants are available to any English ordinands who experience financial difficulties. (These are disbursed by the Ministry Division.) Thus we are able, for the fifth year running, to turn our attention to ordinands in Africa, many of whom lack the basic support for themselves and their families that is available in wealthier countries.

Last year’s appeal raised more than £45,000. We hope that this year’s appeal can match that, or even surpass it. Every penny donated goes directly to those in training in the poorest African countries.

Donations can be made quickly and securely here.
