Irish archdeacon
THE new Archdeacon of Meath and of Kildare in that diocese is the Ven. Katharine Poulton, who remains as Rector of Julianstown, and Prebendary of St Patrick’s Cathedral, Dublin. She was ordained deacon in 1987 and has served in both Provinces, including as Dean of St Canice’s Cathedral, Kilkenny, Rector of the Kilkenny Union of Parishes, and in Dublin.

THE Revd Anne-Marie Louise Renshaw, Team Rector in the Thurstable and Winstree Team Ministry, in Chelmsford diocese, since 2013, is to be the next Archdeacon of Morgannwg, in Llandaff diocese. She trained for ordination at Ridley Hall, Cambridge, and was ordained priest in 1999. Her title post was in St Albans diocese, in which she continued to serve in parish ministry before moving to Chelmsford diocese in 2011. She will take up post in September.
