COX. — On 30 July, the Revd Eric William Cox: Assistant Chaplain of the United Anglican Church, Brussels (1959-62); Vicar of Winnington (1962-71); Middlewich (1971-77); Chaplain of Mid Cheshire Hospitals Trust (1973-95); Priest-in-Charge of Byley with Lees (1973-76); Vicar of Middlewich with Byley (1977-95); Rural Dean of Middlewich (1980-94); Hon. Canon of Chester Cathedral (1984-95); aged 95.

FARRAN. — On 26 August, the Revd George Orman Farran: Tutor of Wycliffe Hall, Oxford (1962-64; Vicar of St Oswald’s, Netherton (1964-73); Rector of Sephton (1969-73); Rector of Credenhill, Mansel Lacey, Yazor and Brinsop with Wormesley (1973-83); Rural Dean of Hereford Rural (1981-83); Rector of Ditcheat with East Pennard and Pylle (1983-94); Canon Chancellor of Wells Cathedral (1985-97); Bath & Wells Diocesan Director of Ordinands (1986-89); aged 89.

GODDARD. — On 22 August, the Revd Stuart David Goddard, Priest-in-Charge in the Bowthorpe Team Ministry (1997-2000); Team Vicar (2000-05); Priest-in-Charge of Hamworthy (2005-09); Rector (2009-17); aged 71.

GREEN. — On 27 August, the Revd Elizabeth Pauline Anne Green: Deaconess of Christ Church, Chorleywood (1976-87); Parish Deacon (1987-90); Gloucester Assistant Diocesan Missioner (1990-95); Assistant Curate of Chipping Sodbury and Old Sodbury (1990-95); NSM (1995-99); aged 96.

GRIFFIN. — On 8 August, the Revd Joan Angela Griffin: Deaconess of St Mary’s, Moseley (1985-92); NSM (1992-2005); Chaplain of University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Trust (1995-2002); Priory Hospital, Birmingham (2002-05); aged 90.

MORETON. — On 23 August, the Revd Philip Norman Harley Moreton: Assistant Curate of Bottesford with Ashby (1960-65); Perpetual Curate of St Giles’s, Lincoln (1965-70); Vicar of Bracebridge Heath (1970-77); Seasalter (1977-84); Team Vicar in the Whitstable Team Ministry (1984-88); aged 97.

OLIVER. — On 22 August, the Revd John Kenneth Oliver: Vicar of St Paul’s, Stratford New Town (2003-05); Team Vicar in the Totton Team Ministry (2005-12); aged 77.
