Sheffield post

THE Revd Michael Gilbert, Rector of Baslow and Eyam, in Derby diocese, since 2012, and Area Dean of Peak, since 2022, is to be Associate Archdeacon Transition Enabler in Hallam and Ecclesfield deaneries, in Sheffield diocese. Mr Gilbert was ordained priest in 1995, and served his title in Sheffield diocese. He was Vicar of Brightside with Wincobank from 1997 until 2007, when he took up a post at Wilson Carlile College of Evangelism, where he remained until 2012.

 

AINSLIE. The Revd John Ainslie, NS Assistant Curate (Associate Priest), of Boyne Hill (Oxford), to be Priest-in-Charge of St Michael and All Angels, Maidstone (Canterbury).

BARLOW. The Revd Philip Barlow, Assistant Curate of Oatlands, to be Rector of Effingham with Little Bookham (Guildford).

BATEMAN. The Revd Timothy Bateman, Assistant Curate (Associate Vicar) of Gas Street Church, in St Luke’s, Birmingham (Birmingham), to be Vicar of St Peter’s, Farnborough (Guildford).

BATES. The Revd Leah Bates, Assistant Curate of Headley and Box Hill with Walton on the Hill, to be Rector of Fetcham (Guildford).

BREUSS. The Revd Kristin Breuss, formerly Assistant Curate of Holy Trinity, West Hampstead, now part-time Assistant Curate (Associate Vicar) of St Mary’s, Bryanston Square, with St Mark’s, St Marylebone (London).

BREWERTON. The Revd Andrew Brewerton, Vicar of Kilhnurst, and joint Area Dean of Wath (Sheffield), to be Chaplain of Holy Trinity, Cannes, France (Europe).

CHAPMAN. The Revd Lynn Chapman, Priest-in-Charge of Brooke, Kirstead, Mundham with Seething and Thwaite, and in the Hempnall Team Ministry, and Rural Dean of Depwade, to be Rector of Hethersett, remaining Assistant Diocesan Director of Ordinands (Norwich).

CRONIN. The Revd Linda Cronin, Rector of Glenavy with Tunny and Crumlin (Connor), to be Rector of the Dawlish Coast Mission Community (Exeter).

HALE. The Revd Eira Hale, Assistant Curate in the Warwick Team Ministry, to be Vicar of St Nicholas’s and St Barnabas’s, Kenilworth (Coventry).

HAMMOND. The Revd David Hammond, Vicar of the Bridge Benefice, and Area Dean of Coventry South and of Kenilworth, now also Priest-in-Charge of Fletchamstead (Coventry).

HENSON. The Revd Jacqueline Henson, Assistant Curate in the South Cheltenham Team Ministry, now Team Vicar in the North Cheltenham Team Ministry, with pastoral responsibility for Swindon and St Peter’s, Cheltenham, and Elmstone Hardwick with Uckington (Gloucester).

JARVIS. The Revd Steven Jarvis, Assistant Curate (Associate Minister) of Stratford-upon-Avon, Luddington and Clifford Chambers (Coventry), now Team Vicar in the Walton-on-the-Hill Team Ministry (Liverpool).

McDOUGALL. The Revd Sally-Anne McDougall, Deputy Director of the Royal School of Church Music, to be Chaplain of St George’s, Madrid (Europe).

NEWNHAM. The Revd Carol Newnham, house-for-duty Assistant Curate (Associate Priest) of the Theydon Parishes (Chelmsford), to be house-for-duty Rector of Therfield with Kelshall (St Albans).

RAFFAY. The Revd Dr Julian Raffay, Director of Chaplaincy Studies of St Padarn’s Institute, to be also Bishop of Sheffield’s Adviser for Spirituality, and Chaplain/Spiritual Care Practitioner of Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (Sheffield).

RICKETTS. The Revd Theresa Ricketts, Vicar of Cuddington (Guildford), to be Chaplain to the Bishop of Winchester (Winchester).

TULLOH. The Revd Renate Tulloh, NS Assistant Curate (Assistant Priest) of Holy Trinity, Lamorbey (Rochester), to be part-time Assistant Curate (Associate Priest) of the Four Saints Benefice (Winchester).

WALTON. The Revd Deborah Walton, Vicar of Prees, Edstaston and Whixall (Lichfield), to be Team Vicar-designate and Team Missioner in the Flegg Team Ministry (Norwich).

WILSON. The Revd Debra Wilson, Assistant Curate of the Elham Valley Group (Canterbury), to be Vicar in the St Catwg Ministry Area (Swansea & Brecon).
