ANDERSON. — On 18 May, the Revd Brian Arthur Anderson: Assistant Curate of St James the Less, Ham, Plymouth (1978-80); Organising Secretary of the Church of England Children’s Society for Bath & Wells, Exeter, and Truro dioceses (1980-89); Team Vicar in the Saltash Team Ministry (1989-94); Rural Dean of East Wivelshire (1991-94); Priest-in-Charge of St Breoke and Egloshayle (1994-96); Rector (1996-02); Truro Diocesan Officer for Evangelism (1993-99); Rural Dean of Trigg Minor and Bodmin (1995-2002); Priest-in-Charge of Torpoint (2002-09); Antony with Seviock (2002-09); Prebendary of Marnays in the Collegiate Church of St Endellion (1999-2009); aged 81.

BRECKNELL. — On 17 May, the Revd David Jackson Brecknell: Assistant Curate of Sneinton, in charge of St Alban’s (1962-64); Solihull (1964-68); Vicar of St Paul’s, Furzedown, Streatham (1968-75); Rector of Rumboldswyke, Chichester (1975-81); Priest-in-Charge of Portfield (1979-81); Rector of Whyke with Rumboldswyke and Portfield (1981-95); Priest-in-Charge of Boxgrove (1998-99); aged 91.

STANESBY. — On 6 May, the Revd Derek Malcolm Stanesby: Vicar of St Mark’s, Bury (1962-67); Chaplain of Bury General Hospital (1962-67); Rector of Ladybarn (1967-85); Canon and Steward of St George’s Chapel, Windsor (1985-97); aged 93.
