A detail from an elaborate 18th-century Neapolitan Nativity currently on display in the Faith Museum in Auckland Palace, Bishop Auckland, as part of the Auckland Project. The intricate display, also known as a presepe in Italian, contains hundreds of components created by a team of craftspeople during the 18th century, and measures 11 ft tall and 15 ft wide. It has taken a team of technicians several weeks to construct. Runs until New Year’s Eve
