Tuesday 11.05pm (C4) Women on Death Row The story of Sandi Nieves who was accused of killing her four daughters and is still awaiting execution after 20 years (2/6).

Wednesday 9pm (BBC2) Atomic People Survivors of the atomic bombs that were dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki describe their experience.


RADIO:
Sunday 8.10am (R4) Sunday Worship The Chaplain of St George’s, Paris, the Revd Mark Osborne, leads a service marking the opening of the 2024 Summer Olympics.

4.30pm (R3) Choral Evensong A repeat of this week’s service from St Albans Cathedral. Recorded on 26 June.

Monday-Friday 4pm (R3) Composer of the Week Donald Macleod focuses on Ethel Smyth, known for her sporting prowess. Music includes movements from The Wreckers and her Mass in D (1-5/5).

Tuesday 3.30pm (R4) Beyond Belief Canon Giles Fraser explores the place of wine in some religious traditions (5/8).

8.05pm (World Service) Assignment and 9pm (R4) Crossing Continents Tim Whewell completes his trip to the West Bank and Israel in his exploration of the reality behind the slogan “From the River to the Sea”.
