BILL. — On 22 April, the Revd Alan Bill: Team Vicar in the Thornaby-on-Tees Team Ministry (1971-76); Rector of East Gilling (1976-81); York Diocesan Stewardship Adviser (1976-81); Vicar of Ormesby (1981-91); aged 94.

SMALLEY. — On 19 May, the Very Revd Dr Stephen Smalley: Chaplain of Peterhouse College, Cambridge (1960-63); Acting Dean (1962-63); Lecturer at the University of Ibadan, Nigeria (1963-69); Lecturer at Manchester University (1970-77); Warden of St Anselm Hall, Manchester University (1972-77); Canon Precentor of Coventry Cathedral (1977-87); Vice-Provost (1986-87); Dean of Chester (1987-2001); aged 93.

STUBBS. — On 16 May, the Revd Stanley Peter Handley Stubbs: Assistant Curate of Fletton (1955-58); Hon. Minor Canon of Peterborough Cathedral (1956-58); Assistant Curate of St Paul’s, Hounslow Heath, in charge of the Good Shepherd (1958-63); Chaplain to the Territorial Army (1959-78); Vicar of St Alban the Martyr, Northampton (1963-76); Rector of Christ Church with St Laurence, Brondsbury (1976-93); Hon. Assistant Curate of St Mary Abbots, Kensington (1993-2018); aged 100.
