New archdeacon

THE Revd Dr James Theodosius, Rector of Holy Trinity, Skipton, since 2020, Area Dean of Skipton since 2021, and Hon. Canon of Ripon Cathedral since 2019, is to be the next Archdeacon of Richmond and Craven, in Leeds diocese. Canon Theodosius trained for ministry at Westcott House, Cambridge, and was ordained priest in 2006. He served his title in Chichester diocese, before becoming Chaplain of Exeter University, and Director of Reader Training on the South West Ministry Training Course. He moved to Leeds diocese in 2015, to serve as Priest-in-Charge of the Upper Wharfedale and Littondale Benefice.

 

BROWN. The Revd Jennifer Brown, Assistant Curate (Associate Vicar) of Shevington, to be Diocesan Urban Mission Enabler (Blackburn).

CRISCENTI. The Revd Joanna Criscenti, Assistant Curate of Winchester Cathedral, to be Assistant Curate of the Dever Benefice (Winchester).

DAVIES. The Revd Lynda Davies, Rector of Cottenham with Rampton, now Diocesan Adviser for Women’s Ministry (Ely).

de VRIES-SYTSMA. The Revd Dorothee (Dorienke) de Vries-Sytsma, NS Assistant Curate of St Willibrord’s, Arnhem, now Assistant Chaplain in Arnhem-Nijmegen, the Netherlands (Europe).

di CASTIGLIONE. The Revd Nigel di Castiglione, Team Rector in the Papworth Team Ministry (Ely), to be Team Vicar.

GRAHAM. The Revd Stephen Graham, Chaplain of Glenalmond College (St Andrews, Dunkeld & Dunblane), now Chaplain of St Boniface’s, Antwerp (Europe).

JACKSON. The Revd Claud Jackson, Assistant Curate of Holy Trinity, Brompton, with St Paul’s, Onslow Square, and St Augustine’s, South Kensington (London), now Chaplain of HM Prison Bronzefield.

LARGE. The Revd Andrew Large, NS Assistant Curate of St John the Baptist with Christ Church, Hoxton, now NS Assistant Curate of St Anne with St Columba, Hoxton (London).

MAK. The Revd Marcus Mak, Rector of Christ Church, Felixstowe (St Edmundsbury & Ipswich), now Assistant Curate (Associate Vicar) of Denton with South Heighton and Tarring Neville and of Newhaven (Chichester).

MORIARTY. The Revd Patrick Moriarty, Assistant Curate (Associate Minister) of St Stephen’s, St Alban’s, to be Rector of St Nicholas’s and All Saints’, Harpenden (St Albans).

PINCHBECK. The Revd Caroline Pinchbeck, Rector of Goodmanham and of the Weighton Wold Benefice, Vicar of Sancton, Rural Dean of South Wold, and Canon and Prebendary of York Minster (York), now Ripon Area Rural Change Enabler, and Priest-in-Charge of Forcett and Aldbrough and Melsonby (Leeds).

RODEL. The Revd Mark Rodel, Diocesan Development Officer for Learning (Ely), now Deputy Diocesan Director of Mission and Ministry (St Albans).

SIMPSON. The Revd Susan Simpson, Rector of Somersham with Pidley and Oldhurst and Woodhurst (Ely), to be Vicar of Aldborough with Boroughbridge and Roecliffe (Leeds).

SOUTHERN. The Revd Lindsay Southern, Vicar of Catterick (Leeds), now Hon. Priest-in-Charge of Cornforth and Ferryhill and of Chilton (Durham).

TOMKINS. The Revd Dr Justin Tomkins, Assistant Curate (Associate Priest) in the Hedinghams and Upper Colne Team Ministry (Chelmsford), to be Team Rector.

TURK. The Revd Richard Turk, Assistant Curate in the Reepham and Wensum Valley Team Ministry, to be Curate-in-Charge of Lyng, Elsing, Bylaugh and Sparham, in the Reepham and Wensum Vallely Team Ministry, and of Foxley, Foulsham, Bawdeswell and Themelthorpe, in the Heart of Norfolk Team Ministry (Norwich).

WALKER. The Revd David Walker, Vicar of St James’s, Greyfriars, Reading (Oxford), now Work Champion of the London Institute for Contemporary Christianity.

IRELAND

BOYCE. The Revd William Boyce, Assistant Chaplain of St Andrew’s, Puerto Pollensa (Europe), to be Rector of Holy Trinity, Dromore (Down & Dromore).

POWER. The Revd James Power, Vicar of St Mary’s, Harrow on the Hill (London), now Rector of the Templebreedy Group (Cork, Cloyne & Ross).
