West Ham retirement

THE Ven. Elwin Cockett, Archdeacon of West Ham, in Chelmsford diocese, since 2007, is to retire on 30 September. He was ordained priest in 1992 in Chelmsford diocese and has served in parish ministry, as Rural Dean of Basildon, and as Chaplain of West Ham United F. C. from 1992 to 2012. He has also been an Hon. Canon of Koforidua, West Africa, since 2020.

McCABE. The Revd Dr John McCabe, Rector of Byfleet (Guildford).

McPHERSON. The Revd Andrew McPherson, Priest-in-Charge of St Christopher’s, Southbourne, remaining Vicar of Holdenhurst and Iford, and Hon. Canon of Winchester Cathedral (Winchester).

MOSS. The Revd Christopher Moss, house-for-duty Vicar of Longdon, Castlemorton, Bushley and Queenhill with Holdfast (Worcester).

NORBY. The Revd Dean Norby, Priest-in-Charge of St Columba’s, Aberdour, and of St Serf’s, Burntisland, and St Peter’s, Inverkeithing (St Andrews, Dunkeld & Dunblane).

OATES. The Revd Michael Oates, Co-ordinating Chaplain of the Dorset Healthcare University NHS Foundation Trust (Salisbury).

PORTER. The Revd Malcolm Porter, Vicar of Highams Park (Chelmsford).

RAYNES. The Revd Andrew Raynes, Priest-in-Charge of St Barnabas’s, Blackburn, remaining Vicar of Christ Church with St Matthew, Blackburn, Priest-in-Charge of Livesey, and Hon. Canon of Blackburn Cathedral (Blackburn).

SUDWORTH. The Revd Nicola Sudworth, NS Assistant Curate of St Anne’s, Brondesbury, with Holy Trinity, Kilburn, remaining Diocesan Director of Ordinands (London).
