Wednesday 9pm (BBC2) Hell Jumper The story of Chris Parry, from Cornwall, who was shot dead as he tried to evacuate a woman from her home in Ukraine.

(World Service) The Documentary: The Romani Holocaust Celia Donert examines what is being done to redress the lost legacy of the Roma people.

Sunday 8.10am (Radio 4) Sunday Worship The Dean of Liverpool, the Very Revd Dr Sue Jones, leads a service of word and music to mark the centenary of the consecration of the cathedral. The bishop, Dr John Perumbalath, preaches.

3pm (R3) Choral Evensong A repeat of this week’s service from Holy Trinity, South Kensington, sung by Imperial College Chamber Choir. Recorded on 4 June.

Tuesday 3.30pm (R4) Beyond Belief Three poets talk to Canon Giles Fraser about the relationship between poetry and the divine, live at the Bradford Literature Festival (4/8).

7pm (R3) BBC Proms A live performance of Verdi’s Requiem.

Wednesday 3pm (R3) Choral Evensong From St Albans Cathedral. Recorded on 26 June.
