BARNES. — On 19 January, the Revd David Keith Barnes: Vicar of Belfield (1993-99); Honley (1999-2012); Priest-in-Charge of Bude Haven and Marhamchurch (2012-16); Stratton and Launcells (2012-16); Kilkhampton with Morwenstow (2016-19); Rector of the North Kernow Benefice (2016-19); Rural Dean of Stratton (2018-23); Assistant Curate of the North Kernow Benefice (2019-21); Week St Mary Circle of Parishes (2019-21); Rector of the Bude Coast and Country Benefice (2021-23); aged 70.

MINNS. — On 5 February, the Revd John Alfred Minns: Assistant Curate of Hartford (1972-74); Vicar of Wharton (1974-85); St Paul’s, Halliwell (1985-87); Assistant Curate of St Peter’s, Barrow Bridge Mission and St Andrew’s Mission Church, Halliwell (1987-91); aged 85.

OTTEY. — On 28 January, the Revd John Leonard Ottey: Assistant Curate of Grantham (1961-64); Rector of Keyworth (1970-85); Priest-in-Charge of Stanton-on-the-Wolds (1971-85); East Retford (1985-87); West Retford (1985-87); Vicar (1987-99); East Retford (1987-1999); Hon. Canon of Southwell Cathedral (1993-99); aged 89.

OXENFORTH. — On 24 January, the Revd Colin Bryan Oxenforth: Assistant Curate of St Andrew’s, Bromley (1969-72); St Antony’s, Nunhead (1972-76); Vicar of St Margaret’s, Toxteth (1976-89); St Matthew’s, Brixton (1989-2000); St John’s, Pemberton (2000-10); Hon. Assistant Curate of Christ Church with St John, Waterloo, Liverpool, since 2010; aged 79.

SPIERS. — On 24 January, the Revd Philip John Spiers: NSM of Darby Green and Eversley (2013-17); house-for-duty Priest-in-Charge of Amberley, in Minchinhampton with Box and Amberley (2016-23); aged 68.
