A team of seamstresses in Ukraine are sewing clothes for people who have lost limbs during the war. The items are specially adapted with zips, Velcro, and breathable fabric, for ease of dressing and undressing. The aim is to restore a sense of dignity to the 20,000 or so amputees who have experienced life-changing injuries during the conflict. Christian Aid is one of the partners supporting the work
