MEMBERS of Durham Cathedral’s online Community of Prayer met in person for the first time this month since it was set up at the start of the Covid pandemic three years ago.

About 500 people worldwide log on to the cathedral’s services, which have continued to be livestreamed despite the end of the pandemic. Currently 370 people are members of the Community of Prayer, and a group of them this month visited the cathedral and other pilgrim sites in the north-east, including Lindisfarne, Jarrow Hall, and the Farne Islands.
