TELEVISION: Sunday 1.15pm (BBC1) Songs of Praise Katherine Jenkins meets pilgrims in Pembrokeshire walking the ancient trail to St Davids Cathedral.

8pm (BBC1) Call the Midwife Trixie and Matthew get married (8/8).

Tuesday 9pm (BBC2) The Mormons Are Coming A documentary that follows three young Mormon missionaries through training, beginning in Chorley, Lancashire.

 

RADIO: Saturday 5.43am (R4) Prayer for the Day The first in a series of prayers marking 900 years since St David was recognised as the patron saint of Wales. The Dean of St Davids leads prayer from Jerusalem.

Sunday 8.10am (R4) Sunday Worship A service in Jerusalem presented by the Dean of St Davids, the Very Revd Dr Sarah Rowland-Jones, with reflections from contemporary Welsh pilgrims in Jerusalem, Rome, and Brittany.

10.30am (World Service) Heart and Soul Peter Macjob looks at why some Africans are embracing the traditional beliefs of their ancestors.

3pm (R3) Choral Evensong A repeat of this week’s service from St John’s College, Cambridge.

Monday 9.30pm (R3) Compline Sung by the Choral Scholars of St Stephen Walbrook, London, with music chosen to mark the Wren tercentenary.

Wednesday 4pm (R3) Choral Even­­song Live from St Davids Cathedral, on St David’s Day.
