CLAUD JACKSON tells his story of a life turned round in Guns to God: My journey from drug dealing to deliverance (SPCK, £10.99 (£9.90); 978-0-281-08494-4). He had become involved in drug-dealing, but experienced a conversion after joining the Alpha course held by Holy Trinity, Barnes, in west London, in a coffee shop opposite the church. He later discovered a vocation to ministry, and was ordained to the priesthood in the diocese of London in June.
