HIGHLIGHT: Life and War: Ukraine a year on The journalist Rohit Kachroo, who witnessed the invasion of Ukraine, returns to the country to discover how people’s lives have been changed.

TELEVISION: Sunday 1.15pm (BBC1) Songs of Praise The Revd Kate Bottley meets a woman who took in a Ukrainian couple and their pet, and Sean Fletcher joins RC primary-school children at Lincoln Cathedral to learn more about the Stations of the Cross.

Monday 10pm (BBC4) Inside Russia: Traitors and Heroes — Storyville Russian film-makers capture the impact of the war with Ukraine.

Tuesday 9pm (BBC1) Ukraine’s War Diaries A Panorama special follows the lives of five Ukrainians over the past year, filmed by themselves.

 

RADIO: Saturday 11am (R4) How Ukraine Made us Care How the UK came to be Ukraine’s biggest ally on the world stage.

Sunday 8.10am (R4) Sunday Worship The Bishop of London leads a service for the Wren tercentenary, with music from the Royal Naval College Chapel, Greenwich.

10.30am (World Service) Heart and Soul How Native Americans forced as children into church boarding schools are regaining their spirituality.

3pm (R3) Choral Evensong A repeat of this week’s live service from St Paul’s, Knightsbridge, in London, recorded on 3 February.

Monday 8.30pm (R4) Analysis: From brother to other The story of how the war in Ukraine has been presented to the Russian people (3/9).

Wednesday 4pm (R3) Choral Even­­song Live from St John’s College, Cambridge, on Ash Wednesday.
