BODDINGTON. — On 16 August, the Revd Alan Charles Peter Boddington: Bishop of Coventry’s Chaplain for Mission (1969-75); Curate-in-Charge of Honiley (1972-75); Wroxall (1972-75); Vicar of Westwood (1975-85); Assistant Chaplain of the University of Warwick (1978-85); Rector of North Farnborough (1985-2002); Rural Dean of Aldershot (1988-93); Hon. Canon of Guildford Cathedral (1992-2002); aged 85.

BROOKS. — On 28 August, the Revd Francis Leslie Brooks: Industrial Missioner of the South Yorkshire Coalfields (1961-66); Vicar of Moor Ends (1966-72); Chaplain of HM Borstal Institution Hatfield (1967-72); HM Prison Acklington (1972-75); HM Borstal Wellingborough (1975-79); HM Prison Wakefield (1979-83); USPG Area Secretary for Wakefield and Bradford dioceses (1983-88); Vicar of Carleton (1988-96); East Hardwick (1988-96); Canon of Mara, Tanzania, since 1988; Hon. Assistant Curate of Chevington (2004-11); aged 87.

NICHOLSON. — On 28 June, the Revd Eric Nicholson: OLM of West Wycombe with Bledlow Ridge, Bradenham and Radnage (2001-07); aged 89.

RAGBOURNE. — On 24 August, the Revd Pamela Mary Ragbourne: Deaconess (1976-87); Deacon since 1987; Priest since 1994; with CPAS (1968-79); St John’s, Tottenham (1979-81); St John and St James, Great Cambridge Road (1982-84); St Paul’s, Camberley (1984-86); NSM of Winchcombe, Gretton, Sudeley Manor and Stanley Pontlarge (1993-97); aged 95.
