6pm (BBC1) The Queen: 70 glorious years To mark the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, a look at the changes the UK has undergone since her accession to the throne in 1952.

8pm (BBC1) Call the Midwife Sister Monica Joan discovers a raven in Nonnatus House (6/8).

Monday 9pm (C4) 60 Days with the Gypsies Ed Stafford spends two months living with Gypsy and Traveller communities to reveal the challenges they face (1/2).

 

RADIO: Sunday 8.10am (R4) Sunday Worship Matins from Westminster Abbey, to mark the Anniversary of the Day of Accession. The preacher is the Dean, the Very Revd Dr David Hoyle.

10.30am (World Service) Heart and Soul Danny Vincent hears from Christian migrants from Hong Kong who have fled the territory for a new life in the UK.

3pm (R3) Choral Evensong A repeat of this week’s Choral Vespers for the Presentation of Christ, recorded on 19 and 20 January at Our Lady of Victories RC Church, Kensington, London.

Monday to Friday 9.45am (R4 FM) Book of the Week: On Consolation Essays by Michael Ignatieff on consolation, beginning with Job and the Psalms (1-5/5).

Wednesday 4pm (R3) Choral Evensong From Winchester Cathedral, recorded on 5 October.
