The installation Peace Doves by the sculptor and artist Peter Walker on display in Derby Cathedral. The installation comprises 8000 paper doves suspended on ribbons above the nave, accompanied by a soundscape by the composer David Harper. The installation was unveiled last month and is in place until 12 June.

The cope was made mainly by hand, using traditional techniques such as patchwork, appliqué, and raised embroidery, before each element was extensively beaded
