On Saturday 3 December, the new feature film Why the Nativity? will be screened in more than 100 Cineworld cinemas across the UK. Churches and their local communities are invited to attend free of charge, courtesy of the film’s maker, Turning Point Ministries. The film is described as “a compelling, historical presentation with stunning visual dramatics that follows the unforgettable journey of the first Christmas story”. It has been created to bring the truestory of the nativity to life, particularly for people who have little or no understanding of why Christmas is celebrated at all.
