TELEVISION: Saturday 10pm (Nat Geographic) Anne Frank: The Nazi Capture The young diarist’s capture from the perspective of the Nazis.

Sunday 11.35am (BBC1) Songs of Praise Aled Jones presents the boy’s semi-final of the BBC Young Chorister of the Year, from the Monastery, in Manchester.

 

RADIO: Sunday 8.10am (R4) Sunday Worship Live from the chapel of Glasgow University, a service marking the start of Advent, with John Bell, of the Iona Community, and the University Chaplain, the Revd Carolyn Kelly.

10.30am (World Service) Heart and Soul A look at the Native American Anishinaabe people and their fight to protect their faith and traditions.

3pm (R3) A Service for Advent with Carols Live from St John’s College, Cambridge.

Monday 9am (R4) Start the Week: Faith: Lost in translation? Adam Rutherford and guests, including John Barton, discuss faith and translating the word of God.

Wednesday 4pm (R3) Choral Evensong From St Olave’s, York, with the Ex Corde vocal ensemble, on the feast of St Andrew the Apostle.

Thursday 11pm (R3) Compline A service of night prayer for the First Week of Advent, from Our Most Holy Redeemer, Clerkenwell, London.
